This Picture Was Taken after Karen's Second Ordeal With Cancer Her First Was Breast Cancer In 1997 That She Battled Through And Survived Cancer Free until 2005 When Karen Was Diagnosed With A Cancerous Brain Tumor The Size Of A Golf Ball, Well Thanks To Her Fantastic Surgeon And Oncologist Staff At The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Center Karen Also Survived This Most Devastating Disease. All Though She Battled Through And Six Years Later Was diagnosed Cancer Free To Date YippeeYahoo. There Were Many Complications And Side Effects Unforeseen Such As Damage Done During Radiation And Chemo Therapy As Well As Side Effects Of Medication She Will Have To Be On The Rest Of Her Life Some Affects Were From Radiation Such As Burning Of The Inner Ear Affecting Her Hearing And Equilibrium Hearing Is Down From 100% to 30% In Both Ears HER Balance Is Completely Out Of Whack And Short Term Memory Was Damaged Some That Is From Radiation Alone Now The Medication Side Effects Have Dropped Her Energy Level Gets Tired Quickly Can No longer Walk Long Distances.
